  3. A day lost with mother earth

How searching for an apartment ended up in a day in caledonia park, I don’t even know. I was just being a good friend helping her look for one. Ended up on a roadtrip 2 hrs from home. She loves nature so we decided to stop at a park with trails. She made me leave my cellphone in the car nd give her the keys. Then she said we’re going to get lost today. So we did we took random trails crossed rivers. I showed her how to skip rocks. Haha we eventually found a spot to sit on the edge of a river. I layed there with the sun on my face. Soaking it in. I forgot how beautiful mother nature can be. Unexpectedly she gave me a warm hug. She said to forget all my troubles, forget everyone, forget anything that brings you sadness, forget yourself. I did. All i could hhear was the river nd the birds. I asked her why all of this. She said, i know underneath is a very happy person. Just let everything and everyone go. I want you to be happy. I did. Guess this is what a psych major friend is for. It’s hard to find someone who cares nd takes care of you like that. I appreciate it.

You mean the generation that paid three times as much for college to enter a job market with triple the unemployment isn’t interested in purchasing the assets of the generation who just blew an enormous housing bubble and kept it from popping through quantitative easing and out-and-out federal support? Curious.
